Go Long with Dunne & Monos

The '17 class and why these aren't the same old Bills

Episode Summary

Not long ago, the Bills had to operate as a desperate team this time of year. Now, they aren't. Will re-signing their own be enough, though?

Episode Notes

OK, so the Bills missed on Patrick Mahomes. Maybe you heard about it. But, hey, that 2017 draft wasn't all that bad.

Tre'Davious White, Dion Dawkins and, now, Matt Milano are all locked in for the long term. So for this week's episode, former Bills director of personnel Jim Monos takes listeners through each selection with some stories you certainly haven't heard before. For starters, yes, Zay Jones could've been the team's first-round pick instead of White.

Locking up their own core players is obviously a smart business move for the Bills, a team that was one game away from the Super Bowl. But what must they do next to catch Kansas City? We examine it all and, also, look at the NFL as a whole into free agency.

Stick around for our rants on the worst type of people in the world, too.

Thanks, everyone, and be sure to keep on drinking that Hamburg Brewery beer.
